Course Objectives

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills in taking and relaying guest orders, preparing beverages, serving food and beverages, processing payment, setting up function rooms and taking stock of F&B equipment.

Course Structure

The total duration of the programme is 12-month comprising 6 months of theory and practical training on school and 6 months of paid Industrial Attachment. 

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have the following entry requirements.


Candidates must have

  • 16 - 25 years old
  • Year 10 education or equivalent

Industry Attachment

The module seeks to foster professionalism in student development by placing them in real-world working environment within the context of tourism and hospitality to develop their practical skills.
